Cancellation & Refund Policy

1Free Trial & Evaluation Period
BillZo offers a comprehensive 30-day Free Trial to all new users. During this period, you have full access to our premium features (equivalent to the Business Plan). We strongly encourage you to use this trial period to thoroughly evaluate the application, test its offline capabilities, and ensure it meets your business requirements before making any payment.
2No Refund Policy
Because we provide a risk-free 30-day trial for evaluation, all subscription payments and add-on purchases made after the trial period are final and non-refundable.
We do not provide refunds or credits for:
- Partial months or unused time in a subscription cycle.
- Change of mind after a subscription has been purchased or renewed.
- Lack of usage of the application.
- Failure to understand the application's features, which should be evaluated during the free trial.
3Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. If you cancel your subscription:
- Your access to the paid features will continue until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
- At the end of the cycle, your account will be downgraded to the free Starter plan (if applicable) or access will be restricted.
- You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
4Exceptional Circumstances
We recognize that exceptional circumstances can occur. We may, at our sole discretion, issue a pro-rated refund or credit in the following highly specific situations:
- Billing Errors: If you were demonstrably charged twice for the same billing cycle due to a technical error on our part or our payment processor's part.
- Prolonged Unavailability: If the core cloud synchronization service experiences uninterrupted downtime exceeding 72 consecutive hours (excluding scheduled maintenance). Note: Due to BillZo's offline-first architecture, local billing will still function during server downtime; thus, downtime alone does not automatically warrant a refund.
5Disputes & Chargebacks
If you have an issue with a charge, we request that you contact us first to resolve it. In the event of an unjustified chargeback initiated through your bank or credit card provider without attempting to resolve the issue with us first, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your account and dispute the chargeback.
6Plan Upgrades & Downgrades
- Upgrades: When upgrading to a higher-tier plan mid-cycle, you will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the current cycle.
- Downgrades: If you choose to downgrade your plan, the downgrade will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. We do not issue partial refunds for downgrades made mid-cycle.
Requesting a Review
If you believe your situation falls under "Exceptional Circumstances" (Section 4), please contact us within 7 days of the charge in question:

Please include your account email, shop ID, date of charge, and a detailed explanation of the issue. We review requests within 3-5 business days.
